Brief history of the school
St. Joseph School is a Christian minority educational institution established and managed by the Society of Jesus; Mary Joseph OLL convent (Regd S.N 13 of 1973).It stands to meet the intellectual, cultural, emotional and physical developments of the children of Koilkuntla village and of the neighboring localities and has become one of the premier educational institutions catering to the needs of the people of in all its aspects.
The institution is known for its excellence in discipline, education and leadership with Special features like English Language course ILM, Bangalore, techno teaching through smart boards, Dance & taekwondo training, Yoga, Affirmation meditation, all co-curricular and extracurricular activities. All students are given a comprehensive course in Value Educations and Faith Formation. In teaching the Humanities and the Sciences, the aim is to improve an integrated theoretical and practical knowledge based on the latest techniques and the requirements of the present trend. Games and Physical training have an appropriate place in the Timetable.
In the year 2019 December 7th the school celebrated its Golden Jubilee year with the Gandhian theme: Be the Change. For a period of five decades, it has unfailingly sent out students who are capable of being good citizens on whom the nation can count for help, guidance and the empowerment of the downtrodden.
